Why a bear?

Bearlingo bear
😤

I tried every app. None of them were good enough.

I'm a hobby language learner. I've burned through streaks, subscriptions, and flashcard decks — you name it. But something was always missing: I learned words, not language.

🔨

So I built the one I always wanted.

Bearlingo is the app a language lover actually wants to use. Not gamified busywork. Real vocabulary, real grammar, real progress — with a personality.

Built around how a language should actually be learned.

Bearlingo teaches the way a language actually sticks: structured lessons that build on each other, smart repetition that brings words back right before you forget them, and a focus on understanding instead of memorizing. Steady, deliberate practice that adds up over time.
