2. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by Railway Corp., 548 Market St PMB 68956, San Francisco, California 94104, USA (railway.com). Because the provider is based in the USA, personal data (in particular your IP address) may be transferred to a third country; this is based on appropriate safeguards under Art. 44 et seq. GDPR (e.g. standard contractual clauses). When you visit the site, the provider automatically collects information transmitted by your browser (server log files): browser type and version, operating system, referrer URL, host name of the accessing computer, time of the server request and IP address. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the technically error-free provision of the site).

3. Domain, email forwarding and error reports (Cloudflare)

DNS for the domain bearlingo.app is managed by Cloudflare, Inc. (USA).

Email: Messages to the address given in the legal notice, [email protected], are delivered via Cloudflare Email Routing (MX records: route1/route2/route3.mx.cloudflare.net). In doing so, Cloudflare processes the sender address, subject and content of your message as a processor.

Error reports: Requests to www.bearlingo.app are routed through the Cloudflare network and redirected to https://bearlingo.app. In this process Cloudflare sets the HTTP headers “NEL” and “Report-To”, through which your browser can send network error reports to Cloudflare (a.nel.cloudflare.com). Requests made directly to bearlingo.app are not routed through Cloudflare.

Because Cloudflare is based in the USA, personal data may be transferred to a third country; this is based on appropriate safeguards under Art. 44 et seq. GDPR. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure and reliable operation of the website and contact address).

4. Cookies

This website sets no cookies — neither strictly necessary cookies nor tracking or marketing cookies. No third-party content (such as social media widgets) that could set cookies is loaded either. For this reason, no cookie consent banner is required.

The site merely links to our profiles on X and Instagram. These links only establish a connection to the respective providers when you actively click them.

5. Fonts (hosted locally)

The font “Nunito” is served locally from our own server. Noconnection to Google servers is made, and no data is transmitted to third parties for this purpose.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object (Art. 21 GDPR). You may withdraw any consent you have given at any time with effect for the future. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
